MONAD presents a distinctive approach not found in other timepieces — the ability to convey planetary time and date information. It delves into the solar day, lunar month, and seasonal year, offering insights into your unique connection within our planet-centered universe. Demonstrating the intertwined biorhythms of Earth's biosphere, MONAD harmoniously integrates two contrasting time dimensions: the cyclic and dynamic natural time alongside the linear, precise, and artificial mechanical time. MONAD heralds a significant paradigm shift of celestial proportions — a revolutionary New Paradigm of Time.

Through MONAD, one witnesses the perpetual circular and spiraling nature of natural temporal rhythms. It elucidates the celestial alignments of stars and planets visible from one's earthly location at night. MONAD illustrates the progression of seasons, moon phases, obliquity of the ecliptic, Earth's circle of illumination, while a Twilight Dial provides insights into sunrise and sunset timings at any latitude and time of year. Moreover, MONAD elucidates the agricultural biorhythms that govern Earth's photosynthetic biosphere. By refocusing our collective attention on Earth's biorhythms and biosphere, MONAD aims to restore our planet to the epicenter of our consciousness.

With MONAD’s unique North or South polar axial perspective, users observe an unconventional view of Earth’s globe. The inclusion of a time zone-spanning Hour Hand automatically aligns with one’s specific globe coordinates, granting visibility into all 24 global time zones concurrently — fostering a sense of interconnectedness across the globe.

MONAD operates through four principal Modes. The Geocentric (Geo) Mode highlights Earth at the core of a 3-dimensional celestial ring for time and date representation. Running on algorithms grounded in a Sun-centric solar system model, Heliocentric (Helio) Mode offers precise astronomical data and enables users to venture into past or future timelines to witness solar system transformations. By seamlessly transitioning between Geo and Helio Modes, users can draw parallels between the two viewpoints and comprehend planetary retrograde phenomena from an Earth-centric stance.

Astro Mode features a 2-dimensional Calendar-Clock interface where users can manipulate the hour hand for time adjustments or engage with the calendar or zodiac bands for date settings. Additionally, a detailed planetary position table allows users to access accurate astronomical information at any given moment — resembling an astronomy or astrology chart in real-time. Future enhancements to Astro Mode are expected to include Scientific Astrology and Educational Astronomy Programs.

Event Mode serves as a platform to document personal events amidst broader planetary occurrences shared collectively. Color-coded Event Wedges are displayed in correlation with each solar day corner (Sunrise, Noon, Sunset & Midnight), lunar month corner (Full Moon, Dark Moon, Waxing Moon & Waning Moon), and seasonal year corner (Equinoxes & Solstices). An innovative feature allows users to record events instantly as they unfold — encouraging mindfulness and presence in daily life.

In Health Event Mode, users can align personal endocrine biorhythms with universal planetary rhythms. The 24-hour circadian Calendar-Clock layout serves as an effective tool to arrange and exhibit health-related events. Integration with Apple Health app (HealthKit) enables display of relevant health data such as Sleep cycles and Step counts extracted from HealthKit within MONAD.
